Peter Van De Veire
I’m an Oracle employee for approx. 28 years, and in that time, I’ve been part of multiple departments. I’ve been active as a Salesrep, as a Consultant, as a Sales Consultant and even as a Product Developer. The last 10+ years I have been active in Customer Success. During all those years I have witnessed where things go fine, and where things go south every once in a while. I too have been a witness/subject of the many re-orgs that our dynamic employer pushes on to its people. I believe it is crucial that the employee representatives monitor very closely if these re-orgs happen in a fair and correct fashion. It is essential that we feel comfortable in our position, and that we do not live in constant fear with regard to job security.
